The Energy & Infrastructure Committee focuses on policy issues as assigned and analyzes matters for recommendation to Council, which includes issues related to:

  • Natural gas production and distribution 
  • Water and sewer utilities
  • Garbage and recycling
  • Municipal infrastructure
  • City buildings and fleet

The Emergency Advisory Committee (EAC) focuses on critical policy decisions related to emergency preparedness and emergency response.  This meeting of the EAC ensures that committee members are aware of the identified risks and proactive measures taken by the City to ensure a state of readiness relating to a large-scale emergency response and further permits the EAC to provide recommendations for further enhancement to community safety measures.
